How to order your custom fight gear/muay Thai shorts while on your training holiday in Phuket Thailand?
A few years ago before the FightLab opened up the only option was to try and order direct from Bangkok. This could be timely and if there was a spelling mistake or mix up with the order you would be back to square one. This is not the case these days as we have set up two fight stores and have our own factory right here in Phuket. if you look across the road from the Fightlab in Rawai you will see our little custom shorts factory hammering away day and night getting the shorts done.
Luckily We have two stores (for now) one up in Chalong bases on the same road as Tiger Muay Thai/Dragon and the newly opened Phuket Top Team, not forgetting one of the oldest gyms on the island a stones throw way Suwit Gym and Muay Thai stadium. The main and bigger store in located down in Rawai not to far from Rawai Muay Thai/Sinbi Muay Thai/Phromthep and Lion Muay Thai gym.
So you can drop in to either fight stores in-between training, Sit down with one of our girls that speak very good English. Have a look through the catalogues/draw up a idea or email over your designs. Another option if your not bothered about being to individual is buying a off the pair rail of Muay Thai shorts and just adding text. This can be done for as little as 200 THB on top of the shorts price. We also have our own range of Muay Thai short for 500-750 THB so you get a custom pair for as little as 700 THB! If you go full out and get your own unique pair of shorts then you will pay between 1000-1400 THB for Muay Thai shorts and 1,200-1,800 for Boxing or k1 trunks. Realistically you would pay that for branded Muay Thai short from twins/top king/fairtex or any other leading brand. So you may as well tune in to your artistic side and come up with your own unique pair.

How long does it take?
Well if you just want the text you will be able to pick them up the following day. For the full on custom shorts we try to turn them around in three days, but as we also make for Muay Thai brands in Australia and the U.K and also do bulk gym order it can take up to week. We are working on having four staff dedicate to the walk in shorts and the same for the online orders.
How are they made?
We make them from scratch, yes scratch! a lot of people think we add the flames/logos text to the shorts but it all starts of from rolls of material. The advantage of this is that you can adjust the length/cut of the shorts so really you are getting a pair of tailor made Muay Thai shorts.
What material is used?
99% of the Muay Thai shorts that are made are made from satin and this goes for the one we make as well, its high quality and very durable, Ideally this is the material for your fight shorts. Training Muay Thai shorts are made from parachute material which is light quick to wash and quick to dry ready for the afternoon training session. We also have this available for customisation along with a standard range of Muay Thai shorts.
